This was awesome live. I got to see Okada, Naito, Ibushi etc all in big matches this is crazy.

I think I liked takeover more because of the time length. The NJPW shyt was all high end but ROH with all their enzo and beautiful people stuff they came off Bush league compared to NJPW

Imagine Suzuki or G.O.D. giving a fukk about a Big Cass or GOATass as he is known

Okada back on top all the New Japan shyt was amazing.

Now on to Mania

I was surprised the crowd wasn't nearly as hot as the Takeover crowd, but the NXT audience got a much better and more compact show that didn't have a whole dead hour in the middle. The difference in crowd energy from the start of the ladder match compared to the start of Okada/White was such that you could feel it without the volume on.

I woke up still mad I hope they paid the PCO entrance with Okada bucks.

Jay White is slowly getting better but the main event was still largely a carry job by Okada, if only because the crowd just can't get hot for Jay White.

That's completely on White though. Dude got like a 10 minute control section and did NOTHING with it besides sitting on restholds to get "heat". That match was a prime example he still has long ways to go before being a legit main event caliber wrestling. At least I saw some real personality from him this time, didn't feel like has playing a part. But when everyone wants to see you lose and you are with an all time great like Okada, you gotta do better than that abysmal performance in the first 20 minutes.

And he's coming off beating a bunch of people for the New Japan Cup so the amount of fresh challengers is really fukking small this reign will be all about cool-good matches over anything else. There's no records, feuds or rivalries in sight. Kinda like the Omega reign to be honest.
