[4/4] Wrestlemania 21 Watch Party @ 8pm Est - WM Goes Hollywood!

Maybe I’m off base then I was in elementary when 21 happened so I’m assuming others are in a similar boat but I haven’t done the legwork on that one.

Oh my dam. Yeah I was already in college when 21 hit so I have no fond memories of it at all. Even the ones I did grow up on I can sift through the ones that are trash (11, parts of 14) and dope (12,17,18)

But watching the single digit manias are the most fun for me cause I’m a big fan of history and trying to find patterns that inform the present or the future. Like watching the Luger v Yokozuna match from summerslam 94, and thinking about now, it’s so obvious Vince only knows how to have one archetype top babyface and that’s Hogan. Luger is baby hogan in that match like painfully baby hogan. Same shyt with cena. Same shyt with reigns. Austin, Bret, and Shawn and rock are the four times he’s deviated from that pattern and it was out of necessity

I would be good with any of these. 3 is one of the biggest of all-time, 5 had Run-D.M.C doing the "WrestleMania Rap" (still trips me out that actually happened), 13 had the Austin match, 21 looks like a great show on paper, 22 was one of the first I ever watched when I went back to see what I missed, and I've never watched 28 start to finish.
