No, basically fans wanted anyone who they felt weren't handed every opportunity on a silver platter and forced on them.
So the fans want someone who isn't being pushed down their throats to be pushed down their throats? :skip:

Yeah... in 2015. What does that have to do with Roman getting shytted on in 2017?
He doesn't have indie cred

Or you could just not push someone down people's throats to the detriment of others.

I dislike that same shyt about Okada :yeshrug:

There's no reason for there to be only one "top" guy
I get that, and I come to the conclusion that others have said where its just WWE doesn't want anybody to be bigger than the machine :manny:

In Rock and Austin era they were forced to push more than one guy, they're pretty comfortable in this day and age

You say that like Braun Strowman doesn't have universal acclaim online and at live shows despite having all of like 8 matches before he debuted on Raw. Despite that, he's worked with Brock/Taker/Roman, has spent the past 3 months beating the shyt out of the top face of the A brand, and is getting a title match with Brock as the next PPV.

Or that Shield didn't come in at the top of the card beating every top dude in the company from day one and they were the hottest act WWE had for a year. Fans are perfectly willing to overlook dudes being forced on them and being handed every opportunity on a silver platter. Including with Roman in the past.

That whole "not forced fed" shyt is so total garbage. Nakamura had like two losses in his entire nxt run and they were injury protected and to the current champ on the way out...asuka has zero. Shield murdered everyone. Balor got the belt on day zero. Owens beat Cena on day one.

ALL fan favorites with no complaints.

Roman could legit save babies from a burning orphanage and someone will say he did it for sympathy. People were complaining about the Make A Wish commercial he's in, a fukkin commercial for kids with cancer :mindblown:

While I have no problem with them as they are doing a nice thing and giving something back; let's not be naive here, the primary reason they do this is for PR purposes and for "image" reasons. Like Justin Roberts said on his blog, it's all about image, all about the brand, looking good, sponsorship etc etc.

Nothing wrong with Cena/Reigns doing the cancer shyt, but why not Bo Dallas? Goldust? Kane? Sami Zayn? Styles?

Oh I wonder why :mjpls:

Dawg they've been doing make a wish shyt since the 80s before they ever publicized it. Let's not act like they just suddenly decided to start doing MAW for good PR. You ever think Cena and Roman are the ones in those vids (and they're definitely not the only ones) is because they're the most requested?

Whenever Cena does it there's about a hundred and one cameras all pointing in his face, looks a bit suspicious if you ask me? :jbhmm::mjpls:

Yet I've seen celebrities meet kids at hospitals and all I see is one picture, like one or two at the most. :obama:

I agree about the last part, but I've heard of Brock doing make a wishes, but no pictures? I'm sure ALL of the wrestlers do them, but it's only the top stars that somehow get pictures and make their way out? Mmmmm.... :jbhmm:

It's a chicken and an egg thing. Roman/Cena sells more merch than most and are requested by kids. Why? Because they are most visible.

AJ Styles sells nearly as much merch as Roman without the Superman push. It's not that Roman isn't popular, he is. But if they were to give others his opportunity maybe they'd be more of a draw than he has?

Have you tried googling "Brock Lesnar make a wish"?

AJ Styles, the guy who beat Cena twice, won the WWE Championship, and got made the anchor and draw of the SD brand under a year in the company didn't get a superman push? :ohhh:

CM punk said otherwise and he worked for WWE. Do you?
