Dope fight. Wouldn't call it a classic cause the shyt was too ugly for me. So many wild ass punches missing by a mile. Both guys were just throwing shyt at the wall and hoping for it to stick. It was more about their heart than the actual skill. Never seen anybody telegraph their punches like Conor Benn:hhh:.....don't really care to see it again as I think the right guy won. But the rematch is too lucrative for turk to pass up. And neither guy will ever be elite, so might as well let em beat up on eachother for a while and make some easy money.

The hype for this fight kind of got me even though I started out thinking it’s all bs between two guys that shouldn’t fight each other. Tbf when it was first made it wasn’t this compelling, the ped story really made this bigger than it originally was.

I’m still iffy on a guy popping 2x then instead of at least shutting up about it going on a tirade should be getting this kind of a payday but they justified the hype at the end. Not as much in terms of technique but in going ALL OUT.
The size difference was big but imo they stacked the deck so much against Eubank that it made up for it, Eubank was a walking dead at the weigh in, his punch resistance, gas tank, speed and punching power suffered for it. Still beat that ped cheat :whew:

Despite his occasional shaenigans I always like Eubank Jr., I’m glad he got his “big night”.
He’s a unique character in the sport and an actually witty, funny trash talker in a sea of try hard tough man acts. As a fighter he isn’t up to the elite level bit that’s all good, he’s still plenty good when he’s “on” and his fights are usually entertaining, the warrior spirit stuff isn’t just all talk.
