Seth has never been “the guy”

I don't see how that changes now. Seth and Roman are around the same age and they have a similar list of accomplishments. Seth was a Triple H guy, the first member of The Shield to win a world title, and you could argue he knew who he was as a character years before Roman did. He reintroduced Cody to WWE, first one to win the new World Heavyweight Championship. For someone who was never "the guy," he's been given way more than 90% of wrestlers.

When Roman got with Paul, he hadn't unlocked his potential yet. He wasn't allowed to be himself until then. I want to be surprised, but I don't see how Seth elevates from this, especially at this point in his career.

Except for "the guys". Before Roman even got with Heyman he already beaten HHH & Undertaker in Wrestlemania main events and main evented two others vs Brock and this was before the 2 night BS.
