My man Boo Boo didn't look his best, age might catching up on him soon, never before I've seen him so tired :francis:
Even with that he was clearly a level above Williams but had a tougher job than expected. Hard to see him hanging with Golovkin's or Canelo's pressure after this, Derevyanchenko evenmight be too intentense, though I'd still pick Andrade there,I think the tough fights took something out of Derev too.

Charlo would be a better matchup for him than all those cause Charlo doesn't like to play the pressure fighter, not at his best there. So that's a good stylistic matchup for Boo Boo but idk if he has enough in the tank to get it over the line too

Hats off to Williams, he tried, I hada good laugh at his delusional fans who thought he smashes Andrade though.
This guy Williams could easily hang with the likes of Murata or Munguia imo, obviously different style matchups, but his chin seems at least ok and he's gritty as fukk
Hell... this guy could beat the BJS we saw against Murray or Coceres for sure
He's probably weight drained he said he was coming down from his highest 205, he looked tired and out of shape and took rounds off which isn't good.

I think Andrade handles Munguia not sure what you guys see in him. He's going to get exposed when he steps up

Yeah, credit to Andrade, i don't think he was in the greatest shape yesterday, but he's a professional fighter. no excuses if he can't keep himself in shape to do his job.:yeshrug:

I don't think very highly of Munguía, but he's got a solid chin, good punch, can throw a lot of punches, and his size can make things rough on the inside for Andrade, who we just saw struggle with Williams' roughhousing. I'd have the Andrade as the favorite, but I'm betting Munguía.

Munguia or Boo Boo? Agree if it’s Munguia. Boo Boo is a technical, awkward fighter with good mivement and decent power, used to have a high output and a great engine too, I think it’s easy to see what’s good there, the bad (other than out of ring shyt) is his lapses of concentration, lack of gears/killer instinct and his balance due to being too awkward to give a fukk.

A war he deserved to win. Even if he was fighting a ruined version of little g who already had 15 years taken off his life by canelo. And golovkin prolly took more damage in that fight than Sergei did. Which is why he's in semi retirement now.

Sergei proved in the Charlo fight he can still bang and still got a granite chin. I've seen enough from Andrade to know Sergei would give him SERIOUS problems. Dude is basically Liam Williams on steroids. Better power. Better chin. Better workrate. Andrade just got put on queer street by a dude who lost to Liam smith. I'm not hearing anymore hype about this dude. He's been hurt way too many times now for me to think he can holdup against some real heavy hitters. We got all the proof we need to know Andrade is not as good as people claim. Defense is suspect and his chin is paper mache. I'll even do an Avi bet if that fight were to take place on a segei KO:yeshrug:

derevyanchenko was disfigured and bleeding from GGG's punches, wasn't the same the other way for GGG but he gets props as being the only fighter to give as it good as he got to GGG..a 2 way severe beating...but it cost him....he will prolly never beat a top middleweight without extreme struggle or a handicap in his favor..even murata can prolly beat him now and i dont think much of him lol

charlo didnt even drop him...and its not the first middleweight he faced you're wondering why no KD's occured..brandon adams and esp matt korobov both stayed on their feet...korobov boxing his head off for 75 percent of the fight and should have won....so i also doubt he can stop andrade who still has lateral movement for days

he could be...draining to make 160, spoiling on the vine..pressure is a tool but andrade clearly hits hard enough for it to be an issue if you use that tactic...the big thing is andrade knows how to clinch and strong enough to control his opponents esp if he feels like not getting out of his first gear

Andrade's opposition level is so low that he should be looking much sharper than he does. He's falling off balance against fighters who trip over their own feet, but I'm supposed to believe he's going to all of a sudden shape up when he fights an A fighter? For the first time in his career?

I don't buy that drunken master/ doesn't care shyt.

The red flags are there.

It was meant to be about Munguia. Like i said, Boo Boo would be the fav but he would be very wise to be on his A game bc i can see Munguia causing him hell. Munguia seems boom or bust; if it’s HIS night, he can be a terror but if he can’t impose his strengths, he gonna get embarrassed probably cause he wins by hitting and hitting hard while also getting hit in the process

when andrade got hurt williams had about 1 minute to finish him off. it seemed to me andrade controlled the rest of the round. he hid how hurt he was or was not as badly hurt as it is being reported.

Yup, Williams couldn't even capitalize on it either. :snoop:

Andrade is always vulnerable for at least one good shot late in the fight. Culcay hurt him too late and prolly did overall better than Williams did. The thing is nobody has been able to hurt Andrade and really follow up on it yet. They'll get him with that one good shot, but he recovers and stays composed and goes back to business.

dwyer had a pretty good review of this fight and i agree with it. basically, he makes the point that you need to be a high motor guy, like williams, or you are going to look up and realize you need to land a big shot to win the fight and i dont like the idea that a guy has to land a big shot to win a fight.
