They remembered brock and he was gone for longer

No he wasn't. Brock was gone from April 04 - April 12, Lashley from July of 07 - April 18. Also, Lesnar made a bigger impact during his first run and remained in the public eye through the UFC. I would have been genuinely surprised if the fans were white hot for Lashley given his relative absence from the public eye. I imagine that it will take some time for the crowd to warm up to him, but he needs a legit finisher for people to anticipate.

A new theme as well that shyt is too generic. Funny how hes barely been back 5 mins and hes gone back to always looking stoic. When in TNA he would smile and show emotion

I thought that the back stage interview was a step in the right direction, but tonight was a regression. If you want people to care about him, then you have to give them a reason to. Having his return match be a lazily booked multiman match where he looks disinteested ain't the way to go.
