This is so true. LOL it's like the time I sensitivity read for a novel and had to explain to the author that she wasn't being PC by referring to her Black, Irish MC (Irish as in the book was set in Dublin and everyone was Irish) as "African-American", she was just being plain wrong. It was so awkward lol. I was like "You gonna have to do some research as to the actual correct term but I'm 90% sure it's just Black. Even if that's wrong, I promise you it's NOT African-American."
