I know its an unpopular opinion but other than Regal in NXT, I haven't enjoyed an "authority figure" involving themselves in the show or having an angle since the OG one with Stone Cold and Vince and the war for signees between Stephanie and Bischoff. Every other one I have hated, including this current one with Sonya. Defund the authority cause I'm tired of them.

The way it's done now is bland and formulaic, but on principle there needs to be some kind of "order" and entity pushing storylines/characters forward. Otherwise, you get aimless bodies in tights tussling with each other for no real reason for three hours.
