well friend we do live in a matrix so to speak
because the mind and consciousness are physical and functional matrices, respectively.

Just think about how reality is submissive to perception which itself is submissive to consciousness which itself is submissive to the natural infirmities of the mind. the later of course is secondary to, and direct proof of, our lowly evolutionary origins and survival needs.
weird as I reread this post, I realize that it is profoundly filled with hope
as it indicates evolutionary direction that has guided us to a point of no return
no matter what happens, man has been here

as I reread this again, I also realize that I need to add the following
The job of science has always been to pierce the veil of biased perception and touch the concrete quanta of reality; to reproduce faithfully and claim the role of creator that we once only dared ascribe to God. This is truly a beautiful aspiration for men who once were worms.
