:ehh:

Just bought another year of Live last week for 35. Bought VF5FS and all it's DLC (45 bucks) for it a few weeks ago, use it for ESPN and HBO streams...

Just called MS, they want 100 to fix it, and send it back. I asked if they had a deal for replacing em with a new model, he was like nope.

Only other game I played on the system was Gears 3 and I haven't played that in a month at least. Only other game I was going to get was Halo 4 but I'm not even a Halo fan like that.

Contemplating on even getting another one of these things.

:manny:

Look up a local repair shop, repairs usually run about $40 and they give you a lifetime warranty!
It only take 30 mins to fix

I think my boy knows how to fix em. Main reason I still want one is because of the bread I just dropped on it. I didn't even use that Live code though.

I might have to sell it if choose not get another one.

I would just get it fixed locally. Cheaper, quicker, and much more reliable than you would think. I always got mine taken care of through MS, but the negative stories about local repair are few and far in between.

And the warranty being broken doesn't matter, because you'd pay twice as much, and wait weeks for something that can be taken care of in a couple of days, tops.

Breh's come in here and drop some come up shuffle type of ways I can get another one for the low.

Can I trade it in at Best Buy towards a new model? Do they turn it on there? My brother traded in his phone before and they didn't even turn it on to see if it worked and he got a 100 gift card

Buy a new one at Wal-Mart and replace with the old one. Return it and :eat:

Had to do this a few years ago. Gotta make sure the serials match up so make sure you remove the sticker on the back of the new one and put it on your old one in case they scan it :jawalrus:. Also obviously make sure it is the same color and leave everything else unopened. Tell them you turned it on and got red lights.

Free replacement :stylin:
