I vehemently explained how what I saw was not a good look. Explained why I didn't think it was a good look in several posts from at least three different perspectives – even mentioned that what gets me mad is me seeing dude's like Bari waste what basically amounts to a miracle they pulled off (paving a way to stardom from very humble beginnings) to some fukk shyt.

If I was wrong about what happened then so be it. But what I saw in the video was too close to some bad shyt happening for comfort. TO ME that is.

And as far as I remember when @BlackPearl The Empress told me not to quote her again I immediately complied – if only to illustrate how as an adult I'm expected to know not to push myself/my views unto those who don't want it – and not once did I call her names or any hoe shyt of the sort.

And with @BmoreGorilla it was basically the same. We had a normal discussion until we realized we were gonna have to agree to disagree and that was that.

Edit: Actually, I just finished reading Bari's note: "I'm disappointed in the situation as well as myself and will reflect on the situation appropriately". I'd say that's progress because I still firmly believe that's a situation brehs really need to actively avoid during the current social climate, and that's still my stance.

I don't think anyone can say it was Sexual assault or not given such a short clip.

That said, anyone in their right mind knows its a bad decision to film yourself in a way that could be used to corroborate a claim, false or not.

The court of law doesn't rule on truth and circumstantial evidence like that will get you jammed, especially for us Black men.

And once again, the ASAP crew has had multiple members that have done fukked up things to Black women. This aint a racial issue. They're repeat offenders. Kobe this is not.

I wouldn't say it was an "obvious" attempt at sexual assault. But as I said in the previous thread, it was a BAD look. Especially Bari's assistant or whatever slapping her on the butt as she was running out and crying. ESPECIALLY them recording the whole ordeal. No self-awareness.

This is how I feel. nikkas put themselves in a bad situation. My issue was with people calling him a rapist and treating her like some kind of victim. Especially knowing the history black men have with white women and knowing what happens when artists are on the road
