There's either something fishy (pause) going on here or that crew was negligent as hell. They left all the sleeping passengers to burn to death.

Not sure it’s a law you have to risk your life to save people. I know some states you have to help, but that doesn’t count if it’s a risk to your own life
As long as the story is either “we tried” or “we couldn’t try cause we’d die too”....... they’ll be perfectly fine. There’s no witnesses to say otherwise
