Well that’s clearly not happening for black Americans where 22% of our single mothers have trouble getting food.

Real men don’t flee from their families and homes

Which is why Nigerians, instead of coming to America, would be better off in Nigeria helping the people of their homeland and making sure their families don't starve.

"Nearly 25 million Nigerians are at risk of facing hunger between June and August 2023 (lean season) if urgent action is not taken, according to the October 2022 Cadre Harmonisé, a Government led and UN-supported food and nutrition analysis carried out twice a year."

The south has some of the harshest abortion laws (or bans), with the lowest Medicaid benefits in the nation. Yet every single day in the south someone is having a baby they cannot afford, with a worthless man they don’t love. We can talk about policy all we want. But there are institutional problems at place in many of our households that keep producing the same people who make the same bad decisions over and over again. Whether policies benefit them (like a couple years ago during the Biden covid/family care support) or don’t (like now, and virtually every year outside of 2021/early 2022 in modern history).

Problems can be solved by smart decision making.
Can't have kids and an empty fridge then turn around that same week get your hair done, buy a new outfit, and go to the club looking for someone you think going to put food in your house.
A lot of this is a mentality and it's not a gender thing, folks just want things to happen fast and no patience.
All while hurting themselves and surroundings.

Nigerians are actually sending money made in western countries, back to their families.

Not the same as up and bouncing and just not taking care of your responsibilities

Here black americans have lived in a western, modernized country all their lives, and a significant portion of us still struggle to get food. There’s really no excuse for that sir, but you seem to want to deflect that on what’s happening in Nigeria

I am not deflecting, you brought up Nigeria.

As for remittances, it hasn't done much for Nigeria as the Naira is still falling at ever increasing rates. This is causing increases in prices, especially on commodities Nigeria relies on such as the importation of wheat.

Also, Nigeria having 200 million people, 70% of them below poverty, and needing outside groups like the Chinese to build their ports and help maintain their economy while suffering from brain drain because their elite would rather leave than stay and help, is a bad thing.

Dominant people can maintain and provide for their homeland. The fact that their homeland is good means they can replicate those results in other areas. That is a trait of a dominant group.

Nigerians don't come here and dominate with a household income of $68,000 and a bachelor's degree.

No I brought up Nigerian Americans Not Nigeria. You brought up Nigeria to make a weird point about them leaving their country

Sending $16 billion a year hasn’t helped the Nigerian economy??? What a puzzling thing to say

Most single black households with children in the US are not single fathers. And you know this already. Let’s not play games :unimpressed:

I never once mentioned or referenced Nigeria. I did mention Nigerian Americans. Stay on topic sir
If Nigerians were so great then Nigeria would be great but because 500,000 Nigerians come to the United States and do well the other 200 million living an object poverty don’t matter?

Comparing a 45,000,000 pop who has actual history in this country to 500,000 rich Nigerians who just came off the boat leaving their people in squalor

You said, "Nigerians". You mentioned their nationality to compare them against Black Americans. So, yeah, you did bring Nigeria into it when mentioning them specifically.

Nigerians have an average income of 68k, 29% have a graduate degree.

These hoes broke out here and selling their food stamps for lash and bundle money.

Also if you can’t manage your p*ssy you probably can’t manage money either. They tend to go hand in hand.

Here’s the deal. That’s a third world country. Same as India, or Pakistan or Venezuela. This is what occurs in the third world all the time. It’s not a unique problem to Nigeria. And Nigerians send $16 billion a year back to their country. Don’t worry about them

Black American communities, living in a first world nation, are leaving the 22% of single mother homes without food. Why are they letting this happen?

When you stop deflecting and making this about Nigeria we can have an actual conversation
