This isn’t Trump’s first go around in office. We all know what’s he’s capable of, so none of this should be surprising in still being unprepared.

You’re always supposed to stay prepared regardless and never become complacent.
Come on, now. You know how this is different from last time. Anyone that has been following the news knew Project 2025 was going to wreck shop but the only way to prepare is to brace for it and hope he would be slowed or stopped by jurisdiction.

Which is what I’m doing, but I also prepared myself by doing the things I needed to do to put myself in the bear situation to be alright regardless.

There was nothing you were going to be able to do to change people‘s vote or how they felt in their hearts, which again is why people shouldn’t have gotten complacent and had contingencies in the event Trump won again.

The exact reason why we asked @I Really Mean It that day one of his threads of what was he going to do if Trump and what contingencies he had in place.

We can't even get everyone to vote against a felon conman so you can't expect not even most to make the precautions to prepare themselves and that's even if they have the means to do so.

I'm not talking about the ones who did vote for him. I'm talking about the ones who didn't.

You and others in here put faith in those people to do the right thing and didn't have any backup or contingency plan in the event that they didn't come through.

The boldest is your biggest mistake.

It was 64%… which is pretty high, not low.

You purposely ignoring its 2nd highest, by a decent % , in last 4 elections
And 30% is deciding who runs the country regardless of who wins. The majority is typically "did not vote". I know it's even worse with midterms with the turnout being in the 40s from what I remember. I wouldn't be surprised if local elections are low on average

To the bolded. That's a big assumption you are making. You are assuming that people are able to have the means for a backup or contingency plan. Trump has thrown in a monkey wrench into things and most people don't even know what exactly will happen next.
What is your backup to curve what Trump is doing to this country ?

Backup and contingency plans aren’t just strictly related to financials. You know that right? You’re proving my point without realizing it.

My plan has been in motion for months now and why I’ve continuously said I’ll be alright regardless of what happens. I’m not about to sit here depress myself under this current administration to the point of my driving myself crazy.

Continue to go to work and live as you normally have as your boss isn’t going to give a damn how you feel about Trump and those bill collectors won’t either.

I lived in the most racist state in America for the majority of my life that showed me what they thought of minorities, none of this surprises me in the slightest.

By means I wasn't just referring to monetary.

Most people do what you stated but that doesn't mean people can't express their anger

Breh some people on this site are literally giving off the impression that they spend all day every day looking at the news instead of going outside to get some fresh air or time with the family.

We've known there are brehs that don't go outside on here for years. I rather they follow the news than consume themselves with redpill content like they were before
