Transporting people in the back of a box truck is illegal as hell. Video the license plate and U-haul serial # prominently displayed on these trucks and send the video to U-Haul, law enforcement, and the media. The person who rented the truck will lose their deposit (and possibly get fined).

It’s definitely not a good look for U-Haul. That said, since when are moving trucks certified for human transport? No seat belts, no lights, no airflow sounds less like a ride and more like a rolling violation of every vehicle safety code on the books.
