Gotdamn, I remember seeing this opening day. Moms and my older brother caught the 11am showing, and I was marking out at 10 years old when they shot down that HK in the opening scene :ohlawd:

Same. Whole fam went opening day. shyt was beyond epic. My dad being a huge fan of the original wasn't as impressed but I now understand.

I went to Middle School with Edward Furlong in Pasadena. He apparently made only 30K on the film. His parents were still driving a pinto after he blew up. Dude made literally nothing. Hopefully he gets some kind of royalty.

I was just a little jit when this came out so excuse me, but they gave away the switch before it was released? Seems like it would have been dope to realize in theaters that he was now the good guy
