It's sad you guys haven't learned tactics. Playing this game like I'm really in the military, really using real tactics is paying Dividends in the zone. Best zone ever.

If you're getting washed in the zone it's probably your tactics.

Here's some tips from a solo warzone winner. Something many of you can't even imagine doing this season. I shouldn't even be sharing these high level stats with you but I am kind so you can borrow my streezies and hopefully find your own from the inspiration.

1. Play middle circle or very close to it. Find a nice abandoned area or a very heavily populated area near middle to drop into. This way u have places to hide while idiots kill each other or an abandoned place to gather stuff. Pushing from the edge of the circle over and over again is a common way to die. These people play scared so being close to the middle has the fewest risks.

2. Drop near a car. Always hunt and gather near vehicles. This way when the timer runs out or the block is getting to hot you can get in a car and head to number 1. Middle circle.

3. Make it your goal to get her these items in every single game. 1. Gas mask for end game 2. Vest for more plates 3. Your load out. 4 vehicle to push to middle circle. 5 max bullets This will shoot your pathetic attempts to the stratosphere, thanks to me. This is how you Truly play warzone..

4. Use gas mask in final circle to come out of the shadows and clear the perimeter. Hopefully when the gas goes the other way you can destroy the runners.

5. Use prox chat. Talk shyt to people. Get them riled up. You'll often create a situation where 2 people end up in a fight together which is 1 less moron you have to worry about.

Good luck fellas. Hope this impvors your pathetic attempts at winning in the new zone.

:comeon:The "skill gap" was in looking up every other day what the latest broken gun was and leveling that up as fast as possible.
Slide canceling and camera breaking wasn't the skill gap breh.

I just think it's weird to equate skill with insanely fast movement, atrocious weapon balancing, absurd amounts of cash everywhere, rushing buy stations, spamming UAV's and kill streaks, heart beat sensors, one shot kills with an incredibly forgiving hit box and aim assist, fire sales exacerbating all the issues inherent with the buy station system, paid skins that gave players an advantage over others, and I'm sure I'm missing a few more things.

I'm not debating whether or not it was fun.
I just disagree with this narrative that 2.0 is catering to "lower skilled players" by removing or at least taking steps to reign in all the things I listed above.
2.0 is forcing you to slow down and strategically move around the map. Sure campers are going to a bit more of an issue (just like they are in PUBG which barely gives you any incentive to move around their map at all) but again, it's something to keep in mind when you're trying to tactical sprint, slide cancel, bunny hop, every freakin corner.

The games are fun. I'm not trying to defend the game as perfect. Again, I just disagree that the game is catering to low skill.

This game caters to the casual/low-skill playerbase. It's not surprising, considering those players make up the majority of COD's fanbase.

The TTK is very fast, especially in close quarter engagements. This helps weaker skilled players. Don't believe me? This is coming from the developers at Infinity Ward:

Our weapons are a bit more lethal than they were in Black Ops, and that helps the lower skilled player get a kill when they otherwise wouldn’t … our maps are a little more porous and we want that player to have a safe place to take their time

- Infinity Ward Multiplayer Design Director Joe Cecot

The movement and weapon handling is slow and clunky. Aiming down sight, sprint to fire, sliding, mantling, and strafing are all slow.

Another example is the 2v2 gulag. Considering you have to rely on a random teammate, it's considerably more RNG than a 1v1 gulag. It adds randomness that helps weaker players.

Overall, the game plays at a very slow pace with a quick TTK. This helps lower skilled players, as said by Joe Cecot himself.

And I'm not saying that WZ1 had a massive skill gap and it was some perfect game. UAV and loadout spam, weapon balancing, lack of visibility (an issue in WZ2 as well), and map layout of Caldera were some of the issues in WZ1 imo.

"The TTK is too fast in Warzone 2.0"
"Why can't I kill people with a single shot with my sniper rifle in Warzone 2.0?"

I'm assuming you're trolling with this post :heh:

This has almost nothing to do with my post breh
It has to do with one of your complaints.
You can't have everything both ways breh.
You can't complain about the TTK being too fast and claim that that's there to help lower skilled players but then advocate for one hit kills with snipers and faster ADS speeds.
This game has VERY forgiving aim assist on controller. I'd be more receptive to your point regarding ADS if they removed aim assist altogether.
Right now, it it's current state, 2.0 is more balanced across the board than Caldera/Rebirth Island ever was.
Early to mid Verdansk to me is almost the gold standard.
If you're looking at Caldera and Rebirth Island as the peak of the game you and I just aren't ever going to see eye to eye on this game.

When have I ever advocated for one hit sniper kills? It's funny cause I never snipe.

Claim? It's hard to argue when the developers of the damn game have made the same statement:

"Our weapons are a bit more lethal than they were in Black Ops, and that helps the lower skilled player get a kill when they otherwise wouldn't"

Are you trying to say the people who made the game are wrong? :dead:

Early to mid Verdansk is definitely peak WZ, no doubt.
