I'm not into religion but I will enjoy whatever holiday I want. Not a bible person so I don't give a damn if this Jesus figure likes it or not.

I enjoy putting up the tree and shopping for the family. But celebrating Jesus birth or whatever, don't care.

Grew up in a Muslim household. Never celebrated.We would go over to my grandparents houses, see family, but i would always turn away presents. Even as a little kid, it felt like I didn't earn it.

I didn't feel a thing when kids would ask me about not getting gifts. But I was told the truth about it when I was five lol. So make all the excuses you want, but you don't have to celebrate. Your kids will be fine, if you instill values early.

I forgot to mention that this holiday encourages people to lie to their children about Santa being real. When these children realize you lied to them on purpose they have no problem lying to you and anyone else because Christmas taught them that its ok to lie as long as it makes you happy.
