Yes, I have. Very close fight both times, and I know you think Molina won the rematch (as do I...and the 1st one can be argued as well in favor of Molina)...but I, of course, agree with JCC getting the official W

Actually it's not...those fights were 10 years ago...dude had no amateur career and was schooled by a better fighter and got a gift. It's his farce of a title reign that got me which thankfully was ended by the true champ of the paper title he held in nearly one sided brutal fashion.

I disgaree

Zbik was ranked in the RING's Top 5 when Chavez took the belt from him. Marco Antonio Rubio and Andy Lee were both good opponents to defend against. Peter Manfredo? I was never even medium on him, so that fight was nothing to talk about.

All in all, 2 of his 3 defense wins were legit and 3 of the 4 defenses were against 1 A opponent, 2 B opponents, and then Manfredo.

I feel you breh. See I'm a fan of a wide assortment of boxers. For example, nikkas be all in love with Rigo, but I'm just with dude, but then I'm a big fan of Bryd who was a defensive southpaw.

Sometimes there's an explanation to why we stan fighters and sometimes their isn't. I do agree that Zab is a headcase and Berto can't put it all together enough consistently, but both have been good to the sport (for the most part) when it comes to fukkery and entertainment so they can live.

Sometimes there's an explanation to why we stan fighters and sometimes their isn't. I do agree that Zab is a headcase and Berto can't put it all together enough consistently, but both have been good to the sport (for the most part) when it comes to fukkery and entertainment so they can live.

The Bryd hate is something that will always give me the feeling especially since nikkas nowadays stan guys who have even more boring styles/fights than he had. It's like Bryd competed in the wrong age.

Bryd would light bigger and stronger nikkas up with combos all while making them miss and looking like Haymon level career mode fight night nikkas. Dude was also in his fair share of entertaining fights too, but for some reason nikkas forget that.

Fast forward 10 years later and nikkas will stan Rigo for throwing 30 punches against some create a boxer nikka on Unimas or a Manny undercard.

or nikkas will stan Ward for mauling nikkas in anti-climatic bouts for 12 rounds even though he has the talent to get nikkas out of there or really put a hurting on them.

Lomo is about the only dude in recent times who's skills have translated into decent entertaining fights imo.

I had to throw in that disclaimer breh.

To me it all comes down to effort. When I see someone that is more skilled than their opponent, I expect them to really show it and put punches together. That Charlo twin is a perfect example. Dude has good skills, but he never seems like he's trying to impress. He just does enough to get the victory and that's it. Whereas a guy like JRock will go in there and being more skilled, but actually have moments in his fights where you can really see him imposing himself on his opponent.

I was actually a Ward fan when that nikka was coming up and pretty much throughout his career up into the Green fight. I still have the email post bookmarked in one of Dougie Fishcer's mail bags predicting that Ward would win the super six after his victory over Kessler. Fishcer was still riding with Abraham The Green fight changed my perspective of dude and I hated the way he changed his style up after that. and Johnson coming in KOing Green right afterwards was the icing on the cake.

You won't see the best out of guys like Rigo, Ward, Charlo unless they're in with real threats. Which is cool, if they were always in big fights, but since they're not I kinda stopped caring about them.

Lazy fukks like Chavez Jr. and Zab will show flashes of greatness no matter who their in against even though their ceilings ain't as high.

I just wanted nikkas to feel where I'm coming from with that post.

In boxing, effort means everything to me. I feel like I'm being cheated out of your skills when you don't throw enough meaningful punches or just coast on nikkas that your levels above.
