What was the purpose of the Jay White signing again? And why did they waste his first match in the company on Rampage? Should’ve got him on the PPV card. They hyped that shyt and then he’s only been seen a couple times.

Khan literally signed him because he didn’t want to disappoint fans because he used to term “forbidden door” wrong(his logic). The deal to sign Jay was very last minute so Khan didn’t feel like he let fans down with a Keith Lee debut only.



I think forbidden door means specifically wrestlers from NJPW coming to AEW to Tony and he said forbidden door when he was hyping up the Lee debut.

So Jay/NJPW probably only did it as a solid for that. I don’t think we got a “Jay Whit is all elite” tweet either did we?
