Late 90's All Japan going all in on head drops and no selling was a worse version of what they were doing from 89' to 97' when it wasn't as excessive

It's a not big complaint at all tbh, just that it felt like too much cosplaying instead of them having an organic match. Like I said, Eddie winning with the stretch plum made it all worth it though.

I remember Eddie saying either on Oral Sessions or the AEW podcast that one of his biggest influences was 90's AJPW

He's a HUGE Kawada stan and is always saying how that's his favorite era in wrestling.
