They need to get rid of the rule against knees to grounded opponents. It would drastically improve fights by not allowing fighters to just kill the clock. There’s no way a knee on a grounded fighter is any more dangerous than elbows.

Its a dumbass rule especially in a championship fight

Deduct a point definitely, but don't disqualify someone - Anthony Smith continuing against Jones is a rare exception
