Grappling is the key to wearing down Francis, once that is achieved he’ll be easy to pick apart especially with knee shots to slow him down even more

Stipe's biggest mistake was waiting for Francis to tire himself out instead of making Francis tire himself out

But to be fair, Francis showed up waaaaaaaaay more dynamic than the last time he fought.

Tbh I don't think Stipe ever recovered mentally from Francis blocking his takedown attempt and taking his back. Even after Francis almost punched himself out trying to get the stoppage and was looking gassed, Miocic was too shook to engage in striking.

Hell, the only reason Miocic went for the takedown to begin with was cuz Francis hit him with that triple jab, overhead right (that connected), and check hook. Stipe basically said fukk all dat and went straight for the take down without trying to engage in strikes again.

So to have that blocked, take massive punishment as a result, and now you're back to square one standing with a guy you don't want to trade strikes with... that's how Stipe damn near got his head kicked off his shoulders seconds later, too busy thinking what the fukk to do lol.

There is no decision in this fight, Francis has no tank. I can see Jones pinning Francis against the cage for a round or two until he gasses. Francis is a gasser, we all know it. Jones is a master of game planning, highest fight iq in mma. Jones is guaranteed to win by ko, a wounded gassed fighter is easy to submit or ko.

Only way Jones wins is if he gets back on PEDS and Francis makes a huge mistake.

Jones may overprice himself just to get out of this, so I wouldn't even expect the fight to begin with
