Jones is way passed his prime. Thats why there is high chance he gets destroyed. If it was prime Jones, it goes the distance becaus Jones in his prime was very illusive when he needed to be. He would be able to get out of the way and not trade with francis. He was also mad creative.. flying knees, spinning back fists..etc this coupled with frsncis limited experience, would give francis problems...but in 2021, Jones does none of this. He lost to dominic Reyes.. that would never happen in his prime

That being said francis wins the fight with Jones.. only way he loses to Jones if he makes a big mistake

He doesn't have the physical tools to do meaningful damage to Francis. He will definitely not hold him down with wrestling and lacks the power to hurt him on the feet. Jones will also lose his vaunted reach advantage. Other than a freak fluke incident, Jones can only win via grinding out a decision using teep kicks.

Agreed 100%. Jones might even gas early due to the unnatural weight gain (knowing him, he might get on EPO though).

Him bulking up will be more of a detriment than an asset IMO. He’s used to fighting guys he has a height and reach advantage over, he’ll have none of that against Francis. His toughest fights were against guys his size (Gustafson,Reyes). We still don’t know how he’ll take a HW punch. He’ll have to have the perfect gameplan to stand a chance.

He has to bulk up the weight limit for Heavyweight is 265 pounds if he makes his body like how Anthony Joshua’s body was for the second Ruiz fight then he’s good. The way Jon looked when he was deadlifting 500 pounds is how he should look at Heavyweight.
