The part of me that enjoys chaos kind of wants Charlotte to win at Mania now. It'd be terrible for business, but fukk it. Bonus points if she's the first person to pin Ronda.

Like you could have kept it real and just said you are ok with the decision despite it making absolute no sense.

They gave her the belt for 1 of or maybe all of these reasons:
1. Consolation prize - basically since they wanted her to go over since Rousey signed they felt like they couldnt let becky get all the shine when Flair is their Hogan/Cena/Reigns. They wanted to show us all that they are 100% behind her and she is still the one to them despite becky being on fire.

2. Ric flair was told he had less than a year to live and they making sure he gets to see his daughter get one more run.

3. She's blonde

4. They are unifying the belts at mania

5. Hogan must pose

regardless none of it makes any sense, and nothing involving charlotte has made any sense in a long time from a storyline POV, they didnt even have the decency to announce the match on tv. They know they was on some BS

the story is due to Vince continuing to screw Kofi

the whole locker is behind him, and this caused the usos to lay down out of respect and to show their support and his boys who have always said kayfabe or not they had his back, so when given the opportunity to do something for him they showed up. this is obvious, stop looking for reasons to be upset.

yes it was predictable and silly (kind of like Charlotte winning on a random episode of Smackdown less than 2 weeks before Mania), but that doesn't/didn't make it the wrong decision.

I will not make too many assumptions but as of today, the way they did it and the way they been protecting charlotte its a dumb decision. agree on the the unify part (if it is indeed true that they won't be unifying them)
yes both brand champions vs fan favorite Becky is still a winner to build extra hype, but the Charlotte title win on a random Smackdown episode didn't need to happen if the WM match isn't for the undisputed championship.

Charlotte isn't being "protected" though. everyone heard that positive crowd reaction to her winning tonight she's popular with the mainstream audience and is one of the best to ever do it on the female side of things in the business. she will always be a focal point in WWE.
