I hear what you're saying, but here's the thing tho .... just like Masvidal (and the UFC) desperately tries to use the "short notice" excuse for why he lost to Usman back in July, most of the time it's an absolute bullshyt excuse. Dustin Poirier and Colby Covington exposed Masvidal's lie that he only had "a few days" to prepare for Usman .... he was in camp with Poirier for like four months prior to that fight preparing for a possible title shot.

at the UFC level, there is no excuse to not be prepared. they are paid to train and be ready.

I didn’t mean to give him a pass, I was trying to explain how someone that bad found his way into the ufc. Same with the cross eyed 5-1 hillbilly Montel Jackson destroyed earlier...there’s 1-2 new bums every card and they’re coming back at least once more.
