Smart fight by Brunson...why wouldn't he exploit his opponents weakness? (in this case sh*tty TDD). Its nice to see him halt another hype train

Also, Brunson had some bad losses in the past with bumrushing his opponents and getting finished early - he's learned from his losses

really thought he turned the corner too

nah. holland is retarded breh

Holland was doing better in the striking but he’s just not physical enough to grapple with a lot of these 185 guys

then maybe he should've not welcomed every clinch or tried to get out of shyt instead of welcoming the bottom position by body locking the guy

dude had enough energy to talk shyt and joke the whole fight but was out there to have a good time instead of win

did he even have a plan outside of making friends?

Unfortunately he just wants to have fun :francis: says he doesn’t care about reaching full potential

I don’t get the wrestling criticism. It’s a martial art, use your weapons wisely and disarm your opponent. It’s not pretty but it’s effective.

Holland is an odd one. Maybe that’s his persona but I hope he doesn’t get married to it if this is going to be the result. I felt he could have done things within his power to mitigate Branson’s offense. It’s frustrating low key because he has talent.

I dont understand why Kevin barely tried to get off the ground. Seemed content to put a body lock on and slap Derek's ears.

His takedown defense seemed almost non existent too.

He has talent but I think he's too in love with doing the goofy shyt and not taking things as serious as he should be.

Holland had no sense of urgency. Dude was seriously laughing as he was clearly about to lose a decision :francis:

That's not how goat works you fukking moron

Stipe hasn't been on top long enough to be considered the GOAT of anything

lmao, these what happens when nerds talk sports

Greatest of All TIME, not greatest of the last two years lmao

You're a real dumb motherfukker.

It's a young sport and there's been no dominant heavyweight champs in the UFC. Before Stipe, no one was able to muster more than two UFC HW title defenses. Greatest heavyweight is a low bar to clear compared to greatest light heavyweight, welterweight, etc. With his strength of schedule combined with number of title defenses, of course the UFC is going to promote him as the best heavyweight of all time.

"...but...but...of ALL TIME! :damn:" Yeah nikka, no one can see into the future. You know damn well no sports promotion is going hype up one of their athletes as "the greatest thus far in history"

That’s interesting to me. Holland just needed to be more patient when striking he could fix that. If he feels he’s too small fort grappling aspect though I don’t see him making the effort to get further in 185 cause that’s a mental thing I believe. He just needs to work on his wrestling defense.

it wasn’t even dereks fault, he ate two shots that should have knocked him out. But the endless talking got embarrassing. The answer for when u have no answer I guess.
