2TB PS5 SSD $180 on Amazon for prime day!

I've been interested in getting more storage for a while but haven't felt the need yet. Never messed with these ssd in the consoles. I see they got some external ones. I got one for my Xbox1 but I'm using the ps5 lately and not that anyways. The 500gb one sounds tempting since I don't have a bunch of games. Would this be more beneficial than an external? Guessing it's pretty easy to install as well?

ya'll done dropped $500 for the PS5, $1200 for the OLED and now wanna get cheap with the storage expansion on the playstation????

Yes, because the PS5 and the TV are worth that much. $200 storage pays for itself eventually but is kinda ridiculous considering it cost 3 full price games. I'm not knocking anyone for paying it, but it makes as much sense as to why someone else wouldn't.

You can only play ps4 games off an external, which won’t do much good at this point as you’ll mostly be playing ps5 versions of cross-gen and ps only games.

I wouldn’t bother with 500 or whatever. You can get the 1tb for around 100
