So much of Pacs failures are written off because of who his family was. But the truth is they set him up to succeed and like he said here he was so caught up in chasing "respect" ideologically he didn't pull back and continue down his path as one of our greatest entertainers.
RIP, he wasn't my favorite, but I'll never deny the cultural impact he had and I don't think it's ever happened since.
