....no more dope gaaaaaaames!

Classic song.

Funny points by OP. I always thought the sister part was messed up. Like thanks for not fukking my sister. :gucci:

Pac was the definition of "Honest to a fault"....We've all had homeboys who had sisters we wanted to fukk. You just don't violate the code and actually pursue it.

I think Pac was being vulnerable, and in a roundabout way, showing how much he respected his boy in that line.Out of love, he showed self control.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
This is one of my favorite songs because everybody goes through a phase where friends outgrown each other and grow apart.

It's always at trip to see people after graduation and peep how life made them change.

Im the same dude now as the day i graduated high school.

Class of 2K... sqad up!!!!

It was Pacs heart on his sleeve and emotional honesty that defined him and put him so far ahead of everyone else. Sure he postured, this was the 90s rap game after all, but he also had depth and could accept his own weaknesses but more importantly he gave you all sides of the story - not just the shiny tales of success but the bad, ugly and consequences.

Pac was surgical with that pen

First of all, I wanna point out that this song was an example of why PAC was so great. Cause he gave you real ass emotions.

Now this thread is basically about the first verse, where he is talking about his homie. Basically Pac is telling him he’s not mad at him for changing his life, but if you pay attention, Pac actually is very mad. With a hint of jealousy almost. Damn near disrespectful. Felt the need to remind him that he wanted to fukk his sister, but never did:picard: Damn Pac, was that necessary to get your point across?

"Congratulations on your wedding, I hope your wife know she got a playa for life, and that's no bullshytting"

The fukk that supposed to mean
:gucci:

It can be interpreted as a compliment, a threat, or an assertion that he knows he will cheat on his wife

Disappointed cause he wanna go to the mosque, don’t wanna chase tail:scust:

Damn Pac, let that man be a good practicing Muslim

And speaking of that, he was almost laughing at him about being a Muslim. “Oh you a Muslim now”:pachaha:

I mean, the end of the verse says it all. He literally says “I’m just laughing at ya”:pachaha:

Pac was on some other shyt on this one

Pac was on that real life dude almost homo like jealousy. dudes happy for you but kind of jealous you're growing up and about to do something with your life. things they only said they would do at some point but never seemed to get done ever. flawless pac song. cause he caught every real life emotion in this song.

great thread

Pac is the goat for sure.

I always thought the line "oh u muslim now" was about his close friend mike tyson after tyson converted in jail

but pac def didnt hate on muslims. Kadafi was muslim the whole time and very close to Pac. Also, after pac died, napoleon, fatal, and kastro became muslim.

Also, napoleon used to say pac was muslim when napoleon first converted bc how pac behaved. But he stopped saying that bc pac didnt take the shahada.

RIP Pac, Khadafi, Fatal

East Side!
I always wondered who we was referring to in this song or if he just took bits and pieces of those around him and made it into song.
