this track easily proves that pac would destroy todays rap game.. it’s scary that he didn’t reach his prime yet. That dude was genius, he has songs for every mood. Like EDI said, in AEOM he basically created the ideal formula for hip-hop albums, he showed to the world how that shyt done. Pac will never be replaced

Playing “Scandalouz” right now and this album gotta be the GOAT hip hop/rap album. It’s this and Doggystyle but you get “more stuff” from AEOM. You enjoy both albums but Pac gave us everything with this double disc — quality music with anticipation and a wild backstory

Do you think Snoop will do anything with these classics now that he owns the music catalog as well as the Death Row name/label? Surely the first thing you do is remaster and re release Doggystyle with the original track list and then work on getting Quik to remaster AEOM and add things back in, put Hit Em Up on there, Ambitions As A Fighta as a bonus track, video version of I Ain’t Mad Atcha, fix Got My Mind Made Up etc etc

gonna be hard for him to get his hands on the bread and butter releases like AEOM, Chronic and even Doggystyle.

He can do stuff with that visual IP from those albums but it might be tough with Pac’s stuff since it’s in the hands of whoever runs the estate/Amaru.

Might be in his best interest to start off with something “smaller” like Murder Was The Case soundtrack/film but also making sure every Death Row release is on streaming services. Then get a true inventory of what the vault looks like and break up that shyt into 5 compilations.

And if he’s gonna have the brand, will it be run like a label or does he just want to ride off of the legacy projects and give them a polish for the new gen. The brand still had value — people still rock Death Row gear. But will be put in the work to be a proper label boss is the question.
