Definitely a piece of hip hop history. Me Against the World is a better album though.

Me Against The World is great but it sounds dated. It feels like it's from a different era. All Eyez on Me sounds like it could have came out pretty recently. It doesn't have that old school rap sound to it at all.

Remember going to Best Buy and being in awe how they got 2 disc in there. Listening to this non stop for the year.

And i remembered preferring the California Love Remix more since i heard that more since OG wasn't on this.

I actually love that. The Big 3(AEOM, MATW,
7DT) each have their own vibe to it. MATW feels more peak early/mid 90s New York/Bay Area, AEOM was the cutting edge shyt of 96 LA/Death Row, and 7DT got the dark haunting mystique around his death and the end of DR. Pac’s best albums encapsulated certain aspects of the 90s from its grittiness to its rapid advancement.

it being better than 7dt is a given, due to the known fact that Pac was working with a lower tier of producers

but MATW? it depends, as i dont think the datedness is exclusive to MATW its there in AEOM to.
