Ok, I think we've officially come to the point that there's too many Bowl Games. First we had to resort to letting three 5-7 teams in, then we get a Bowl with 2 teams from the same conference (and the MWC Commissioner is NOT happy), and now this:

Why do ppl say Oklahoma has the worst loss "by far" to Texas, when Mich St llost to sorry ass Nebraska?

Texas lost on one play to Ok St, Cal, Texas Tech.

Yea "by far" is a strecth MSU could have lost to Michgan as well and they had more close games against weak competition than OU did but it worked out better for OU with them getting to play the weaker team of the 4.

lol, weaker? Clemson is prob the most explosive team in the playoff. Watson is the most dynamic QB of the 4. If we somehow drew Mich St 1st rd I'd be fine. Connor Cook is a statue and Eric Striker/Devante Bond, our D-line would give him fits. Watson tho will tuck and run and get 1st downs.

Tough matchup for us. We can win, but it won't be easy.

I honestly feel it should have been
1) Clemson VS 4) MSU
2) Bama VS 3) Oklahoma

But I know the committee is salivating at the possibility of an Oklahoma V Alabama NC....

They had MSU beat. I don't think they were overrated

MSU completely dominated the 2nd half.

Iowa ran 0 plays on MSU's side of the field in the second half. Plus Cook was clearly hurt.

Only 2/4 would be considered legit "Main Eventers"

No real star power either. Jameis had enough for all 4 teams, but you also had Urban, Mariota, and Saban

Yeah that's a problem. Alabama is still very good but they don't have the key players outside of Henry that everyone knows. They aren't quite as loaded as they were. Michigan St. is a little boring, I love their style of play but some won't. Clemson is interesting with Watson but I think everyone expects them to lose. Oklahoma is loaded but they didn't receive the hype they normally get.

It's a far cry from Jameis, Mariota, Urban, etc.. Plus, I said this before, I don't like them being on New Year's Eve. There's too much going on I can't actually sit and just watch the games. That second game won't get over until damn near midnight.

it could be that, but I think it's moreso they don't want there to be a chance of Alabama NOT being there in the title game.
