yes clemson would have more quality wins overall and a better loss, but with the same amount of losses if you beat the team with the better resume then you have the better resume.

This is simple. There are more things to consider than head vs head and Clemson wins out

The only thing that matters in your post. and them not being a conference champ will negate that to the committee. UNC will not jump Stanford unless they lose.
Nobody takes them serious on that level.
If the (11-1 #10) team takes down the (12-0 #1) team in the nation why would they not jump the (10-2 #9) team in the nation :rudy:

Breh you can't be this dumb. Do you really get off acting like this on the Internet?

Who had the better season in totality?

Even the polls ranked teams that lost a head to head above the team that won because of better "lost"

You can not take 1 factor of the resume and assume that reigns supreme.

You have to look at losses, wins, schedule, consistency, etc.

Why is Ole miss ranked ahead of Florida and UF won the head to head?

Why is Stanford ranked ahead of NW and they won the head to head?

Alabama vs Oklahoma in Dallas :damn:

As much as Sooner Nation would like this to happen, it won't for two reasons. The first reason is because playing in Dallas would basically be a home game as Dallas has the largest Sooner alumni base in the country, in addition to, only being 3-4 hours away from the state itself(and 4 hours from Norman). The second reason is has to do with projected ranking of the B1G winner. Either one should jump OU. If Iowa wins, they will be the undefeated B1G champ, and if Michigan State wins, they will have wins against the committee's consensus #1 for most of this season and one of the last P5 undefeated teams; both in the month of November.

OU has plenty history with the Orange Bowl, so the committe won't have any qualms about sending them there to play Clemson, plus they get a blockbuster final no matter who wins vs Alabama.

Stanford is ranked 7th though. You really think NC can jump 10 spots in 2 weeks? and your last post was about things like brand names and national appeal. Does that not matter to you anymore? lol
NC is gonna need losses across the board from the competition to move all the way up to number 4. Tell your boys to show up next week and get it started.

They don't need to jump 10 spots, they need to jump 6 and they have the best opportunity to do that playing against #1 :what:

Who else is playing against the unbeaten #1 team in the nation:what:
