Iowa travel wise would crush it. Ratings edge is no question the Buckeyes. It's a different ball game to some degree now. I'm also basing this on what the officials from the Rose Bowl said. They would be hard pressed to skip Iowa if they are higher ranked just like they would be hard pressed to skip MSU if they are higher ranked.With our fanbase,the way we travel,and the way we pull in ratings that might be too much for them to pass up. Well I'd just prefer that Iowa beats Michigan state, so then we won't have to worry about where they'd send us ... It would be to the playoff.
I could see osu getting the rose over us. I'm not super concerned about that though. We went 12-0. They'll put us somewhere on New Year's Day. I'm good.

If our loss was the first game of the season and UNC went on to win 12 straight, beating #1 team in the country(hypothetically), why wouldn't we make it? The loss to South Carolina? Why is it ok for Oklahoma to lose to Texas then? IF we beat Clemson, rankings wise, that's a better win than ANY of the other playoff contenders would have.
I know they won't put us in and we probably won't even beat Clemson, but if we do we deserve it as much as anyone else aside from an undefeated Iowa team.

The clemson win would be the only one worth anything compared to OU. You have to be honest about that.

Funny how acc gonna have 3 teams and 1 affiliated (ND) in top 10 tonight. ACC should be heading in right direction especially if Miami and Virginia can nail their coaching hires. Don't have much faith in Syracuse it's just a different time.
