pipe it up
The movement inside of the top four is the least important part. They are going to tinker with that to get good match-ups for TV on 12/6.All these rankings have come down to is:
You must go undeated unless you're an SEC team, which will always have the highest rated 1-loss team in the rankings
It's bullshyt. LSU is not that good. They showed it on national TV and somehow beating that team got nikkas thinking Alabama should jump Ohio State.

You're really going to act like the Notre Dame brand doesn't have any extra weight? When they are good, it may be the only one that could rival the SEC as far as having influence in that roombama was 4th in the initial rankings. iowa, memphis, and michigan st were the only undefeated teams behind them that had a win over a currently ranked team, and notre dame was ahead of those teams as well. so whats the sec bias at play here?
As long as Stanford win and Notre Dame beats them they got a good shot of getting in. Their Brand takes a back seat to no one. their only loss was a close loss early to the #1 team on the road in bad weather. Their resume stacks up to anyone as well. Only thing i see that could keep em out is because of not having a conference chip gameYou're really going to act like the Notre Dame brand doesn't have any extra weight? I don't think that's held against them. Thought they had the same deal they were given during the BCS era but I was mistaken. As long as Stanford win and Notre Dame beats them they got a good shot of getting in. No, Notre Dame does not have to join a conference because of the PlayoffNotre Dame doesn't have a special arrangement with the College Football Playoff like it did with the BCS. If Notre Dame ends the season ranked fourth or higher, it makes the field, just like any other team. If it is fifth or lower, it's out, just like any other team. It may certainly help a team's cause, but playing in a conference title game isn't a requirement for the Playoff. Selection committee chair Jeff Long said Ohio State's performance in their 13th game was a factor in them jumping into the last Playoff spot ahead of the Big 12 teams, but maybe it wouldn't have been as much of a factor had it been a squeaker of a win instead of vaporizing Wisconsin by 59 points.
