Ole Miss loss was a fluke. And Florida is not that good. They needed a miracle to get by my Vols.

Eye test matters. Alabama is #1 in my eyes. LSU is #2. Ohio State #3. No one else matters.

Florida got screwed. When all is said and done the Buckeyes and Tide are probably the best 2 teams in the country but let's let things play out. I think it's irresponsible to put a team that doesn't control its own destiny in the top 4 this early. And Baylor/TCU, the Committee will continue to screw w/ them unless there's a chaotic situation like 2007. Tonight it was the SOS. At end of the season, the narrative will switch to "one less game." If Florida doesn't lose until sec title game, they'd actually face LSU AGAIN and lose again...if they arent killed earlier, so, its basically a wrap for Florida too (sorry). Bama if they lose to LSU are dead. So who is left

Because NCAA rules (that everyone agreed on) state that a conference must have 12 teams to have a championship game. The Big XII tried to appeal... the NCAA basically reacted with a....

This shyt seem like it's rigged to get an SEC team in no matter what. Reason being is it is PERCEIVED that the SEC is the best conference bar none. Like these other conferences don't have any teams. So the SEC is highly ranked and it makes their SOS seem high compared to other teams.

They got Alabama at #4 you lost to a 2 loss Ole Miss team who lost to Memphis. I don't think Memphis is better than UH. It'll play out but how long until these conferences at least the Power 5 conferences are on equal ground? Becuz this notion that the SEC is the best conference without a doubt has to stop. This conference hasn't won a Chip in a few years and last year during bowl season didn't look like the best conference.

Nobody gives a damn about "recruiting"

Talent doesn't mean squt. If it did, Houston/Memphis wouldn't have beat 2 SEC teams, nor would OU have beaten the recruiting juggernaut in Tenn., who almost beat Bama.

Pick one game samples to prove a point brehs.

At the end of the day, recruiting rankings are the best predictor for who will win the national title. The last 3 national champs have has 3 straight top 5 recruiting classes. That's usually the formula for winning a title.

As a result, this years champ will be either Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State cause they're the only teams with top 5 classes the last 3 years.
