t looks like 2 Chainz will be earning himself a number 1 spot on the Billboard album sales charts with the release of his ‘Based On A T.R.U. Story’ project yesterday.

Over the past year 2 Chainz has become quite a dominant force on the rap scene. The guy is pure entertainment on a microphone, and it’s hard not to enjoy his music. It looks like the mainstream rap scene agrees as 2 Chainz is well on his way to a number 1 spot on the Billboard album sales charts next.

The official sales projections numbers show 2 Chainz ‘Based On A T.R.U. Story’ album selling in the ballpark of 130,000 to 140,000 copies in its first week on retail shelves and digital downloads.

In the digital sales era, it seems like they lowball more than anything nowadays, especially on Def Jam releases.

I put 4400 on under, and 4000 on over...but I just have this feeling it's gonna go over.
