who would have thought something bad could happen trying to flip a snowmobile. they are lucky that barrier stopped the runaway snowmobile a few nights back or several fans would have died, and they would have had to put an end to this stupid ass event for good.

They released a statement saying they will make appropriate changes in the future to ensure safety.
Only way to make the potential of a snow mobile falling on you safer is to not do it at all.
Or an ejection seat.

Seriously though, Ive snowmobiled since I was 6 years old and feel that they should eliminate the trick competition/big air from the xgames. The races are legit and can stay, but there's no need for people to be doing flips on a snowmobile, I dont care how light they are now. Ive had accidents riding and have seen plenty of friends and family members hurt by crashes.
Hopefully, they take this incident and stop this particular contest. Its just too dangerous.
