The Rams won a Super Bowl with Stafford. Drafting a franchise QB isn’t the only way. Just seems like they’re burning through these QB picks excessively fast.
We tried our version of that with Tannehill. And we made the playoffs 2-3 times. Great. But then we peaked and fell off of a fuccin' cliff...
You would like us to repeat this as if it's feasible instead of possibly finding someone who can yield the same if not better production on a rookie contract instead of paying a bum like Sam Darnold 50 mil which inherently disallows you to build out your roster? Lol
The Rams had Aaron mf Donald mind you, let's start there. Then they decided to go into cap hell and go all in on spending on every other positions. So....they only needed one piece and could gamble like that with Stafford. We're not in that position...
No it's not the only way, but it's the SMART way in our current state of things. We already had the #1 pick before and tried to be "smart" and trade it a few years ago, and yeah we got Derrick Henry & Kevin Byard out of that draft but where are they now? The rest of the people we drafted not even on the team.
