25 Most Depressing Pro Sports Franchises...

Raiders, Chargers, Lions, Browns, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Redskins, Jets, Giants....you can damn near make a list of moribund NFL organizations by themselves. Throw the whole state of Florida away...

Knicks, Wizards, Hornets, Hawks, Pistons, Cavaliers, Bulls, Timberwolves, Suns, Kings are NBA candidates...

I'm a casual of other sports and don't follow then closely enough to definitively say. The Charlotte Hornets may be the most irrelevant franchise in either of those leagues though, is there a more irrelevant organization than the Hornets?

Orlando magic should be on there, were the only franchise to have at least a superstar for like 3 straight decades and the most we get is two finals appearances and losing most of them to the western conference. Like you know how unfortunate you gotta be to go from shaq then to Shaq and penny then to penny, injuries, then mcgrady, possibly get Tim but don't but get grant, injuries, lose them both, then get Dwight, trade away the cohesion of players, and then lose him, and miraculously get Victor oladipo and Tobias, then trade them in favor of Evan and Aaron just for Evan to score pad and Aaron to under perform and STILL have a player like Vucevic who's a top 5 center, and is likely gone within a year or two. That's just crushing.

And how'd they lose?

The first time they got cheated before calling out the Patroits was cool and the next time they lost as the favorites in an all around pathetic showing where the hype was through the roof - the team not only didn't recover but the QB is getting shyt on by new ownership, the face of our defense is retiring because he was dying for the game, and every good young player we get is basically going to deal with one of the first two options. The Panthers are HARD to be fans of.

Guys don't just retire after a playing well. They get ran through the mud or nearly/flat out die. Players go out like clowns, public enemies, body bags, or with a vendetta. Its how it always goes. That shyt is tiring as fukk.

The Hornets? Man, they ain't even had a #1 pick and expectations are reasonably low every year. How can you be disappointed? Did yal really expect the Al Jefferson Hornets to beat the Wade/LBJ Heat? That's just dumb and unfair. The games are fun to go to and chill.

Panthers? Winning games with Rivera felt like a relief more than a victory. With Fox they felt like luck. That shyt is stressful and hard to watch especially when you're just waiting for the players to go out the bad way...

The Detroit Lions are the mose depressing sports franchise. Many of those teams suck and everybody knows it but Lions fans always have hope. Every year things will be different that year until they're not. Cleveland won a championship not that long ago no way are they number 1.
