Like I said they tried and the audience rejected the characters.
They rejected them because they were weak characters that's my point, you needed a strong character like tony but with tactical schools and younger
And none of the characters were written in a way to position themselves to take over the main role

The later seasons suffered from weak ctu storylines, so hopefully they improve on that
Dr Dre would make a interesting Jack. At least they are giving a young black male actor a chance in a MAJOR TV franchise. A black male who isn't gay, nor wears a dress, and who kicks ass onscreen and might be intelligent as well. Gotta see how he reacts to other white characters.
Fox is also bold to have Jack's successor a black male WITH a black love interest, plus it's freaking 24 so I will support this.

You know how many times Jack has been tied up without a gun and had to fistfight or choke mfers...
Even if I give the benifet of the doubt and say a woman could shoot a gun as well as jack bauer... he has to choke a mfer to sleep like once per episide.

That Rush Hour was absolutley horrible,i didnt last 2 episodes....and Lethal Weapon i havent been able to get into even though i fukk with Damon Wayans....Uncle buck i liked but wasnt really the Mike Epps that i luv but a watered down version,shyt got canceld quik as shyt....at some point we gotta start supporting these shows no matter how wack they might be.
Good to see black folks on major networks now,not just WB network and Bounce TV
....the hood is still misrepresented though.The one black show i really liked was the one witu the black comedian with David Allen grier and Laretta Divine,but i cant never seem to catch that one.
Hes going to have to be greater and crazier than Jack Bauer for it to work.
