They had the chick last season who was basically a female Jack. I would have liked to see them continue with her or at least have her appear in this show.

24 needs a lead character that will do crazy stuff. I'm gonna give this a chance but the lead seems to sane. He seems like a normal person caught up in the terrorist plot. Let's be real Jack was crazy and he was always flying off the handle.

Naw you missing my point, this should have started like season 4, let the audience grow with the person for a couple of seasons and there could have been a smooth transition. They used jack to long as the lead

I am surprised they didn't go with her, I checked her IMDB page and she hasn't done anything as big as 24 since then. I'll watch it anyway but I know some types of people are outraged with this.
