-I saw a show where a woman had something like this, finally found a man & I think they were engaged. They went out on a lunch date with hidden cameras & was holding hands & dude kissed her. Everyone around was . Random citizens ran up on dude before calling the police & the officers snatched him up quick when they showed up. The woman pulled out her ID but nobody was trying to hear shyt they were saying. The host & the camera crew had to jump out to save dude from getting stomped out.
-They interviewed people afterwards & they all pretty much assumed she was his daughter or something until they started touching & kissing. Even after it was explained to them some weren't cool with it, called him weird & sick for even being attracted to her with how she looked. I felt bad for her cause she was crying about how hard it was to even find someone willing to love her & all she wants was to be able to be happy. Dude lost family & friends cause they couldn't look passed the appearance & be around them together. shyt was deep.

Ideally she could find someone with the same condition, but the number of people with a similar condition in the US can probably be counted on one hand, if not one finger. It's basically a freak occurrence, depending on the wrong kind of cancer with the wrong kind of treatment at the wrong time. Some Flash "chemicals and lightning" shyt.

In the absence of that, she's left with two choices:

1. Shut herself away from society and the possibility of intimacy and affection.
2. Date, and have her/her current partner constantly be side-eyed by polite society.

I can see where option 2 would be difficult, but I don't see how she owes society or anyone else option 1.
