People have gotten so weird over "age gaps" and I think its a overcorrection. In no reality is a 22 year old with an 18 year old cause for concern.

That entire generation saw grew up with grown folks having dumb discussions most of the time and since it was online they couldnt read between the lines, dont understand nuance, and with a percentage most likely being on some type of spectrum this is what you get.. Social media has gotten this kids so dumb. When I was 18 and in college I was trying to find friends and meet new people in the dorms. The fact the had time for this is ridiculous.

The US is a weird place when it comes to age gaps in relationships..the rest of the world insists the man be significantly older for it to work, and America believes they should be age mates.
Women age rapidly, a lot faster than men do..so being with a woman your own age is great at first when youre both young, till she starts deteriorating before your eyes which then forces the man to seek and replace with a younger woman or he starts messing around.
If there had been a gap when they started, her ageing wouldn't be much of a concern to an older man, but not a man her own age..its why the divorce rate is close to 50%.

Women outlive men in virtually every culture. They age faster to a point....but also take care of their health better.

People who maintain their appearance won’t have this problem. A lot of people get older, and don’t take care of themselves, especially men. This is why you see men with better looking women, and think she doesn’t care about looks. No, it’s just that as they aged, he let himself go, and vice versa. A man who is fit, and cares about his health isn’t dating a chubby girl because she has a good heart. If his once fit wife lets herself go, yeah, he’s going to stray. If they live the same lifestyle and both take care of themselves, it can work. A lot of women stop caring once they have kids. So they don’t wear makeup anymore, and wear sweats all the time. A great example of this is Keith Lee’s wife.
But there’s a difference in the mind of an 18 year old, and the mind of a 30 year old woman. A 30 year old woman can date a 50 year old man. Just be ready to be the financial provider, and stay in shape, and continue to dress well. Because when she’s 40, and you’re 60, you want her to still desire you sexually.
But 18 and 22 doesn’t seem like a big problem to me, unless she’s still in high school. That still doesn’t justify a beatdown. She’s legal, and consenting.
They are still in a highschool mindset.
When i was a senior, i thought dating a freshman was weirdo behavior.
But once you get out into the real world a 4 year age difference is nothing. Not every eligible person you meet is going to be from the same graduating class.
