So this somehow discredits The 7 Day Theory? What was a 6 year old kid doin at a Pac event anyways? If Pac was there then the hardest nikkaz in the city was out.
It wasn't a Pac event it was a barbecue event that happened annually in Marin City. Some of Pac's homeboys invited him and at first Pac was hesitant because there was this negative "vibe" in Marin and it was towards Pac (it was some nikkas not the average nikka). So some nikkas started trouble with Pac (like he expected) and fukkery happened and as a result a 8 year kid got killed (he was actually really far from the event he was riding his bike).

"Got bullet holes in my building
Seen the death of many children
Between us them nikkas killed them
All these stressful ass memories
All I can see is all the homie's that I witnessed bleed
It's killing me" - 2pac

It is an ultimate disgust and speaks volumes of the character, integrity, and maturity of the OP to try and use this incident, which by the way the OP and many others sound very ignorant about, to paint another Black man, let alone 2Pac, in a 'bad' light.

I wish it hadn't garnered even this much of a response, as it isn't even worthy of being acknowledged. Yet, as we are here now, let it be known that those who would stoop so low as to cower behind the death of a child like a typical coward would do as their ammo for smearing the character of another person will in turn reap what comes of such behavior..relative to your real life.

I have seen people that grew up in the hood and was a complete book worm and good kid then next thing you know there in the streets doing/selling drugs in the matter of years. And liking someone's music =/= worshipping. I have been a Pac fan since his debut and its always been about the music. This applies to any other rapper. But when it's about liking a rappers music and not worshipping them it somehow always never applies to Pac :stopitslime:

I completely agree with you. There is nothing wrong with being a fan of his music. In enjoy Pac's music and I don't question his talent in the studio.

You must admit that there is a very unhealthy population of folk who seem to try and elevate him beyond his status of being a musician though. Writing books to try and make him be something that he wasn't, elevating to the level of religious figures and civil rights pioneers and even building statues of the man. What has he done to deserve such idolatry? Not one single musician deserves this sort of treatment.

i said he was a chart topping rapper and did so without braggin about sellin drugs
Pac has several songs that charted higher, and are more knwon than Still Ballin, and even in that bar, he wasnt glorifying it

That's true. I think I read somewhere that Pac would rather have children idolizing Malcolm X than himself. I think Pac pretty much killed himself and that's the said thing about his situation.

Yea but music can bring real change too.

In fact a musician could reach the youth in a way a speaker like Malcom couldn't.

Not tryna put one above the other just sayin I'm sure there are millions of people out there who listened to Pac growin up and took somethin positive from his music. That's a great thing.

You Pac stanleys reach too much. :laff: As if he wasn't always getting into shyt and eventually running with Suge and doing things that a "smart" man would know to avoid. He had enough ends that he never had to be involved with any out of pocket shyt yet he did it anyway. That is idiotic and hypocritical when compared to the social conscience image he tried to portray when he felt like being political. You really think Malcolm X would have been giving him daps, wearing a rag tupac style and talking about "not stopping for hoes"?

Grow up and stop telling yourself you can have your cake and eat it too. Its either one way or the other.

I don't think he was "trying to portray" anything, that's who he was, down to the bone marrow.

And I do think Malcolm would've given him dap. There was a time when a 21..22..25 yr old Malcolm "didn't stop for ho's" neither. He even pimped them, sold drugs, and was the worst thing you ever could be...a thief.

Malcolm was a man of wisdom and insight.Real recognize real.I think he would've looked at young Pac and recognized him as a young soldier...a fighter. It's sounds like you're getting Malcolm mixed up with Calvin Butts.

Pac was still young as fukk. That's the tragedy of his life. All that potential, shattered

Ahh yes, typical hood booger deflection. Any man who has a mind of his own and good sense must be a "cac" right? Notice I said "good sense", not common sense. If common sense was "common" everybody would have it. You clearly don't have it.

Problem is, that many people between 24-45 have this mentality that if you disagree with them, their views on Pac, and the limited views of his stans, that you are some kind of Cac/ nerd/ white-washed black person/ lame. :skip:
