You aint lying breh. And QB play has been the worst. Which is crazy cuz the game has been modified for them to succeed.

How does Brandon Weeden still have a job :wtf:
Thing is qb play is about the same I think. Theres never been more than handful of great qbs at any given time.

Difference is now every team is trying to make the passing game the focal point of their team. When theyd be better served building up their defense and running game. So every team is trying to win through the air throwing it 40-50 times.

I hope the RB position sees a rejuvenation. Tired of watching every mediocre qb paid insane amounts and pushed as stars.

I think it will. Especially with defenses having to play so soft right now. And with teams needing rookies to produce right away the RB position is due for a rejuvenation. Hopefully Gurley reminded these teams how much impact that position can have

We hate it...NFL loves it. Out of those 21 teams how many of them are mathematically eliminated already?

This what the NFL wanted when they went to the whole "division games and games meaning something at the end of the season"

Casual fans stayed glued to the tv when their teams still have a chance of making the playoffs.

Yeah. There are a couple great teams but everyone else has a chance to win every week. It's good entertainment

a month or so ago, there was a thread complaining about the lack of dominant teams or whatnot.

now that a grip of teams have broken away from the pack, the tide has turned on here.

lol.

Yea but you might have multiple teams with losing records make the playoffs. That's a problem

the only squads looking at the playoffs that could possibly have losing records are the teams that win the afc south & nfc east. and the leaders are both sitting at .500 right now.

all the wildcards have 9 wins already.

the jets can go 11-5 and still miss the playoffs.

Matt Schaub, Jimmy Clausen, Matt Cassel, Brandon Weeden, Kellen Moore, Case Keenum, Austin Davis, Luke McCown, TJ Yates, Zach Mettenberger, Blaine Gabbert are some of the QBs that have made starts and played this season :scusthov:
Clausen & Weeden will end up starting for two different teams this season alone :dead:

As bad as the QBs are in the league, teams would be better served going back to the run, run, pass playcalling of yesteryear. If nothing else, it should increase the chances of winning the field position battle

it would also hurry the game the fukk up. nothing worse than hour long 4th quarters because both teams keep going three and out with incompletions. :francis:
