Its true people listen to Future more than Drake not even locally but nationally as well.

But what I would say is that is mainly our demographic which is the black constituency.

Add in other races and it aint close. Thats where Drake has alot of other rappers beat he is able to transcend race and class.
This is why drake sell out arenas tours

This is cap I was in Atlanta for the Aubrey and Three Amigo tour. That man had the whole city on lock. They playing his shyt on radio. I went to 3 different club after the show on Saturday they was heavily Drake feature playlist. It was hood nikka in them places and they was vibing to that shyt. I went to two day parties on Sunday them bytches was in there turning to Drake off them mimosas.:heh:

I think that’s just small minded thinking, you looking at the world through the lens of your group of friends.

But to be real give me Drake’s audience over being the hood’s favorite. It’s a short shelf life for rappers who cater to that street nikka demographic. Have fun performing in a half emptied House of Blues in Myrtle Beach after your year of being hot ends.:mjlol:

This ain’t wrong lol. And it’s not a diss……….. nikkas in the trenches used to listen to Gucci more than Jeezy too. They listen to Future more than Jay, Kendrick and all of them. That’s how it works. Like I know nikkas that listen to Money Man but don’t fukk with MoneyBaggYo as much… doesn’t mean shyt.

The hood doesn’t dictate what’s hot anymore. Travis and drake are the biggest stars in the world.

not really true: pretty much anything in "urban" music has to bubble in the hood first before catching on into the masses of white people

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Southern dudes love going against statistics when their artist aren’t the hottest but then will support statistics when their artist is favored by those same stats.

Street dudes opinions on music doesn’t hold some type of king standard against other folks who buy and listen to music. Last time I checked street dudes are the least supportive.

Cause he's an internet nikka and the only knows what the "numbers" and charts tells him.
This has been a big problem for a long time. I don’t listen to either artist that much so I can’t confirm or deny, but there are artists killing in certain places and barely known in others and Vice versa.
