There's nothing to blame here. It took him more than 3 tries to make the dunk. It was really nasty dunk though, like from 1st or 2nd try it would've gotten easily a 50, maybe even a 3rd try.....but he did more attempts than that.

What is exciting about dunk contests is seeing those nasty dunks done instantly. Nobody wants to see Nate Robinson self lob from 2006 done over and over again. Or Chris Anderson back in 05 throwing the ball from mid court over and over

It’s so disingenuous for Draymond and co. to shyt on the NBA for including the young players without acknowledging how we got to this point

The “real all-stars” made a complete mockery out of game, giving not even half of the effort they do playing for free in empty college gyms in the offseason.

Silver can be criticized for a lot of things but ASW getting to this point lays at their feet. Too cool to jump in the Saturday events, too cool to even pretend to try in the ASG. Don’t cry now nikka that the NBA is throwing whatever they can to try to invoke competition and make the shyt watchable

Has a Euro besides Giannis (who’s African) ever won ASMVP? I know Jokic and Luka are perennial All Stars and they never do shyt in these games. I think Luka attempted a full court shot last year. I think another issue is a lot of the new generation of players didn’t grow up watching basketball like that and don’t know the history, hence why they don’t care. I remember KD actually trying last year and he’s one of the old heads.
